Hike #1 - From Hiking Snohomish County
My feeble attempt at a promo teaser from my shiny new book
I’m about as inept as a slug (sorry, slug) when it comes to marketing my work. But it occurred to me that I could also just post something here that’s straight out of my latest hiking guide and see if the slug slime sticks.
So here goes, the first hike from Hiking Snohomish County: a lazy stroll along the Edmonds waterfront, suitable anytime of the year in just about any kind of weather and any kind of shoes. As we move grudgingly toward the cooler skies of autumn, I might suggest extending your leggy saunter up Main St as well for a warm cup of whatever. Edmonds has a fun little downtown, in case you’ve somehow missed it.
So my awesomely wordy book (336 pages) spans all of Snohomish County, with 140 detailed hikes and walks, from the mountains to the sea. My earlier post from a few weeks back lays it out in much more gripping detail.
By the way, my pet slug suggests I schedule a few talks soon to help get the word out. If you have ideas for potential hosts or venues, send ‘em my way! Books arrive in a few days. Woohoo!
Almost forgot, you can order the book here. Oops.
Just for fun, here’s the original image of Kris and her pensive new friends in Edmonds.
Great news! Congratulations, Ken!
