Don’t like rattlesnakes? Don’t visit Arizona. The ranges of North America’s venomous insects and animals overlap only on it.
I've encountered rattlers maybe 8-10 times, and yes, mostly AZ, also once in VA, a couple in BC Okanogan, another at Zion last year. Lovely critters at a distance!
